Here in the north, the scent of autumn tinges the air, school's starting, and the squirrels are invading my balcony garden in hopes of getting fat on seeds. They were a great inspiration for Squirrels: Protect Your Nuts!
Useless trivia: There are more black squirrels in this part of Canada (near Ottawa) than anywhere else in the world. Happy September 1, friends!

Haha! That plot image made me laugh. I just finished with a book that had plot issues like that -- writing it, not reading it. Thanks to feedback from a few truly epic readers, it got straightened out, but whew! Glad to be over that mess.
