Strange Vibes

Open Call for stories of the weird and wondrous, including science fiction, horror, supernatural and fantasy. No porn, AI or extreme violence.

We're big fans of Lovecraft and Kafka. An intriguing paranormal romance, a good adventure with a "strange" or "uncanny" theme, or an ironic dark comedy can also push our happy buttons.

Include your Paypal account email to get your $2 CDN. We pay on publication.

If your work is chosen for the Strange Vibes Anthology, you'll receive a confirmation email within 2-3 weeks after the submission deadline. Selected authors will be asked to sign an agreement granting publishing and promotional rights to the publisher.  â€‹â€‹â€‹

Editing: you grant us permission to fix minor errors (typos) or formatting of your work. Note, we ARE the Grammar Police. A submission riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, unless these are integral to the plot, dialogue or writing style, is a major literary offense. Please edit your work carefully.

Let your imagination flow. We can't wait to behold the fantastic creations of your strange and uncanny mind!
